Lab Havoc
About Lab Havoc
Lab Havoc puts you in a compact test chamber where the objective is to arrange hazards and trigger experiments that maximize damage to a ragdoll subject. The core loop is simple: place devices, start the run, observe physics-driven reactions, earn currency, and upgrade equipment. Controls are mouse-driven for selecting, positioning, and rotating items before each run; starting or restarting a test is immediate so sessions stay short. The game runs in modern browsers and emphasizes experimentation over scripted levels, so results vary with placement and timing.
How to Play (Controls and Setup)
Use the mouse to select, drag and rotate items into the test chamber. Place hazards where the ragdoll is likely to pass — common spots are near launchers and in choke points where momentum concentrates. Start the test to let physics run its course. If a layout fails, adjust spacing or timing rather than adding more damage outright; small position changes often have bigger effects than higher-tier equipment.
Practical Trap Combinations
Combine launchers with overhead saws or spike clusters to force repeated collisions; placing a pad directly beneath the subject can send it into ceiling-mounted traps repeatedly. Explosives work best in sequences: the first blast should redirect the subject into the next hazard rather than scattering it out of range. Use energy-based weapons like lasers in narrow corridors where the subject must pass repeatedly. Position gravity or physics manipulators to create predictable loops before relying on high-damage items.
Progression and Upgrade Tips
Spend early earnings on tools that increase run consistency, such as launchers or small repeatable damage sources. Consistent damage yields steadier income, which accelerates access to higher-impact gear. Prioritize upgrades that improve timing or rate of fire for automated devices rather than only buying raw-power items. A faster-firing weapon placed in a high-traffic area often outperforms a single high-damage item in the wrong spot.
Troubleshooting and Performance
If the game runs slowly, close other browser tabs and disable background apps; lower-end devices benefit from using a desktop browser when possible. Fullscreen mode can improve focus but may reveal performance limits on older hardware. If items fail to place or the page doesn't load, try refreshing the page, clearing the browser cache, or using a different browser. For mobile play, rotate the device and use touch controls to place items carefully — precision is lower on smaller screens, so simplify layouts.
Lab Havoc Features
Realistic Ragdoll Physics
Objects and the test subject react to collisions and forces, producing unpredictable but consistent physics outcomes you can learn from.
Placeable Traps & Weapons
Position spikes, saws, lasers, explosives and launchers to shape the subject's path and amplify damage through chaining.
Upgrade Progression
Earn currency from each run to buy stronger gear and improve efficiency, letting you experiment with higher-impact setups over time.
Quick Retry Loop
Short sessions and fast restarts encourage iterative testing and rapid refinement of successful trap combinations.
Chain Reaction Potential
Well-placed explosives and launchers create multi-stage interactions that significantly increase damage if timed correctly.
Browser-Friendly Play
Designed to run in modern browsers, the game supports desktop and many mobile devices without installation.
